A lot of people do not know this, but Disneyland has its own App! I wanted to give you guys a quick update on how to use Disneyland’s Mobile App, and what is currently available to view. Disney has rolled out something new this year with their App, that I hadn’t used until last month. They have added Mobile Food Orders along with Maxpasses!
What is available on Disneyland’s Mobile App:
Tickets and passes:
You will find that you can upload your tickets and Disney season passes in this section. If you do upload your tickets to this section, you will be able to see your FastPasses here too.
If you have a Disney season pass, this is where you will reserve your admission dates and view your passes.
Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge:
In this section, you can see wait times, and more information about the current rides open in Galaxy’s Edge.
Take a look at all the new rides and experiences Galaxy’s Edge has to offer, in my recent update.
Play
This is a game you and the kids can play in Galaxy’s Edge for an interactive fun experience!
My Plans:
In this section is where you will reserve your Disney Maxpasses. After you select your Maxpass you will see your reservation here. To see if the Maxpasses are really worth it for you and your family, I have tried them out and did a review on them just for you!
You will also be able to reserve and see your dining from this section within 30 days from your travel date.

So as you can see, there a lot of restaurants that have been added to this program! Now, the easy convenient part about this mobile app is you can literally order your food while you are waiting in line for your favorite ride! Or, you can do what we did and order your food while sitting in a nice shady area. I find that standing in line for a ride is a whole lot easier and more exciting than standing hungry in line for food!
How to use the mobile ordering:
Click on the restaurant you would like to order from.

You will then pick a pickup time frame. Keep in mind, if you are in line for a ride that has a 40-minute wait, you may want to schedule your pick up time for 60 minutes out. This will give you enough time to look over the menu, ride the ride and walk to the restaurant. Or you can wait until you get closer to the ride to actually place the order! Which every way is the most convenient for you.
After you pick out the time frame, you will now choose what you would like to eat and add that to your bag.

When you are done adding your items to your bag, click on view my order.

You can then review and modify your order if needed.

Now, add your payment and click submit! Yes, it really is that easy!
You will then receive your confirmation order number on the screen through the App. Your order will change from preparing your order, to ready for pick up when its time to pick up your order.
Once your order is ready for pick up, you will take your phone up to the Mobile Order pickup area, and show them your confirmation order number. You will not be able to pick up your order without your confirmation number.
Play:
You can download the Play App and play interactive games throughout the park. Disney has also included a map of the areas that now have interactive play available.
Shop Merchandise:
This will take you to ShopDisney.com to shop for all of your favorite merchandise.
Other things that can be seen from the App
You can also view the showtimes, park hours and Extra Magic hour and Magic Morning hours.
Disneyland’s Mobile App has really made some great improvements. The best thing they have done with this App is to make it so you can accurately monitor the ride wait times.
To sum it up this App, download it before your next trip. You will thank me!
