Halloween Time At Disneyland

Starting September 6th, Disneyland will transform its park into Halloween! I don’t know about you guys, but I’m right there with Disney. My house is already transforming into a creepy fun Halloween disaster!

This year Disneyland is not doing Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween but instead, California Adventure is doing an Oogie Boogie Bash.

Tickets for this event start at $110.00 and rise to $145.00 per ticket per person, depending on the day you visit.

The Oogie Boogie has taken over California Adventure for 20 exciting nights—ticket availability is limited, be sure to grab yours before they sell out!

New features to look out for

New Characters- Characters will be dressed up in their favorite costumes, waiting to take photos with all your Ghouls and Goblins.

(Jack and Sally usually hang out in front of the Haunted Mansion)

Guests may dress up as their favorite characters during the event but aren’t allowed to pose for photos or sign autographs. There are quite a few restrictions on costumes, I would highly recommend taking a look at Disney’s website before you pick out a costume.

Halloween screams

This light show takes place at Disneyland on select nights. I am so impressed with their night shows, I would set aside one night to watch. Projections are cast on the main street building, the Castle, Matterhorn and It’s a Small World. Keep an eye out for ghosts and classic Disney villains like Maleficent and Ursulla. Look for nights listed as Halloween Screams with Fireworks. If you are in search of an area that is less crowded, head over to Its a Small world. I find this area to be less crowded and the projections are on the ride with the music blaring with fireworks still in sight.
