The Most Romantic Restaurants At Disney World

Whether you are traveling to Disney World during Valentine’s Day, an Anniversary, or a Honeymoon, you will want to experience the best food and most romantic atmosphere possible. All of these occasions are something to be celebrated, as they are all a reminder of how much you love being with each other. It’s time to treat you and your spouse to the night you both very much deserve.

I’ve broken down the best most romantic restaurants into parks, resorts, and Disney Springs. While some parks have limited fine dining options, others have a plethora of options to choose from.

Magic Kingdom

Cinderella’s Royal Table– located inside Cinderella’s Castle- Yes this is a character dining experience, and you will have about 4 Disney princesses come visit your table but honestly, we didn’t mind. For an extra magical experience, ask for a window seat in the back of the restaurant and make your reservations for 8:45PM. I say this because the fireworks start at 9:00PM and you can view them out the window! I love how low-lit this restaurant is and the fact that you are eating inside the castle just makes things extra romantic. Try the Roasted All-Natural Chicken Breast, it was possibly the best chicken I’ve ever had!

Be Our Guest Restaurant– (Located in the back right corner of the Magic Kingdom) This one is also a character dining experience but only with the Beast. There are 3 seating areas within the castle, I would try and sit in the Ball Room because it looks so elegant or the East Wing because it’s awesome and quite dark! The low lighting with the amazing décor makes this restaurant exude romance! I enjoy the Filet Mignon and the Meats and Artisanal Cheese Selection.

Hollywood Studios

Hollywood Studios doesn’t really have much to offer as far as romantic restaurants go. This area is all about grab and go foods or family dinners. However, there is one restaurant that does shine above the others.

Hollywood Brown Derby– (Located in Animation Courtyard) If you are already in the park and don’t wish to switch to another location, this is the only signature restaurant in this park. I recommend starting out with the Shrimp Cocktail or the Charcuterie Board and then move on to the Angus Filet Mignon or Wagyu Burger. If you’ve never had a Wagyu Burger, the burger melts in your mouth!

EPCOT

Epcot has so many different restaurants for several different cultures. Most of them are really amazing, some fall a little short. Here are my top picks for the most romantic restaurants in EPCOT.

Le Cellier Steakhouse– (Located in the Canada pavilion) This is one of my absolute favorite restaurants within Disney. The atmosphere is dark and romantic, and the food is fantastic! My suggestions, start out with the Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup or the Baby Iceberg Wedge Salad, and then work your way to the Filet Mignon.

San Angel Inn– (Located in the Mexico pavilion) This restaurant is located almost right across from the giant Myan Pyramid. The restaurant itself is very low lit and with a nice romantic vibe. I recommend starting out with the Guacamole and finishing off with the Carne Asada and a San Angel Inn Margarita!

Tutto Italia– (Located in the Italy pavilion) The restaurant itself is tucked back in the Italy area. With low lighting and an Italian theme, it’s easy to see why this restaurant ended up on our romantic list. We like to start out with something light for an appetizer like the “Fior di Latte” Caprese with the Parmigiana to finish.

Honorable Mention Goes To…

Teppan Edo– (Located in the Japan pavilion) Teppan Edo is the equivalent of a Disney Beni Hannah. You really can’t go wrong with Sushi and Filet Mignon or Wagyu Steak. It’s fun, it’s expensive, it’s delicious!

Animal Kingdom

Animal Kingdom is another park that is lacking in fine dining. There is really only one signature restaurant, and I will tell you, it’s really all they need.

Tiffins Restaurant– (Located right outside of the Pandora entrance) Tiffins was a nice delight. We enjoyed the atmosphere; it was very quiet and upscale compared to its surrounding restaurants. Tiffins blew me away with the amazing flavors and selection it had to offer. We recommend the Tiffins Signature Bread Service to start and finish with my favorite, The Tamarind-Braised Short Rib. I also recommend not opting for the Snow Leopard Salvation drink because it is extremely strong and not very good. Instead, donate the $15 to the Snow Leopards and save your taste buds!

Yak and Yeti Restaurant– (Located in between Africa and Asia) This restaurant is very compatible to PF Changs, if you have one in your area you know how delicious it is! With Yak and Yeti, they have shareables meant for two people to share. I highly recommend the Lettuce Cups. If you don’t want to go that route, I would start out with Pot Stickers. We usually share 2 entrees; my favorites are the Honey Chicken and Korean Beef. The Yak and Yeti isn’t top-notch romantic like Tiffins, you will see more families eating here rather than couples. But you won’t be disappointed with the food!

Resorts

Narcoossee’s- (Located in the Grand Floridian Resort) This waterfront restaurant has mixed reviews and known for its hit or miss quality. We thought it tasted really amazing; I find it hard to believe that this restaurant has any bad days! I had the Surf & Turf with Cold Water Lobster, and it was cooked to perfection. The only thing we found a bit off was our waitress wasn’t as attentive as any of the other Signature Restaurants that we’ve tried. Other than that, our experience was quite lovely!

Victoria and Alberts– (Located at The Grand Floridian) I have yet to eat here, it’s much too expensive for my blood! It is not just fine dining but luxury dining. This restaurant has received an AAA Five Diamond Award for over 20 years now and is top rated for the area. If you have at least an extra $600.00 to spend on luxury dining to make your night memorable, this is the restaurant for you!

California Grill- (Located on the top of The Contemporary Resort) Out of all of the restaurants on this list, I think this one probably the most romantic location. The secret to getting the perfect reservation is to shoot for a later time. This restaurant is located on the top of the Contemporary, which has the best view of the fireworks. I recommend either starting your reservation at 9:00PM so you can check-in and then immediately head out to the balcony to view the fireworks, yep you read that right. A huge balcony! The other option is to start your reservation just after 8:00PM so you ample time to eat before the fireworks start and then watch the fireworks on your way out.

I know that everyone wants to propose to their future spouse in front of the Castle, but proposing on the balcony during the fireworks would also be epic and not as predictable.

Yachtsman’s Steakhouse- (Located at the Yacht Club Resort) Rated one of the best Steakhouses on Disney property. This restaurant has a nice low light romantic atmosphere perfect for celebrating an anniversary or Valentine’s Day. Everything from the dinner rolls to the aged steaks are perfection. You won’t be disappointed with this fine restaurant.

Jiko– (Located at the Animal Kingdom Lodge) Experience a unique blend of traditional African, Indian and Mediterranean cuisine. If you’re looking for a restaurant with an African flair or maybe try something new, this is the restaurant for you! The entrees are a little different, don’t be scared! Disney’s chefs have done a great job with the mix of flavors.

Disney Springs

The Boathouse– (Located at The Landing) This waterfront restaurant has nothing but seafood and steaks! You really can’t get much better than that!

Morimoto Asia– (Located at The Landing) Morimoto offers many different options from Sushi to Ramen, Steak, to Orange Chicken it literally has everything. Flavors are amazing and everything is cooked to perfection!

Paradiso 37– (Located in The Landing) Another waterfront restaurant with low lighting and romantic ambiance. This American style restaurant has a whole lot of Burgers and Sandwiches on the menu. The specialty drinks menu might possibly be longer than the actual menu.

Paddlefish– (Located at The Landing) This restaurant is located in a boat on the water. Again, you will find lots of seafood and steak! Paddlefish has a lot of rave reviews and would be the perfect place for someone looking for a unique atmosphere with amazing food.

STK Orlando– (Located at The Landing) This steakhouse prides itself on serving up the perfect steak. With its low lighting, steak cooked to perfection, and raw seafood bar you are sure to set yourself up for the perfect Valentine’s dinner.

Wolfgang Puck Bar and Grill– (Located in The Town Center) Wolfgang Pucks has a wide variety of items on their menu. Even the pickiest of eaters will find something to enjoy. With a full bar and an endless list of specialty drinks, wines, and Wolfgangs talented chefs this restaurant is a safe choice.

To Sum It Up

My favorite romantic restaurants are Le Cellier, California Grill, Cinderellas Royal Table, and Tiffins. I chose these as my top picks based on flavor, atmosphere, and location.
