Rides in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

Fly the Millenium Falcon on Smugglers Run

Once aboard the ship you will take the controls as either a pilot, a gunner, or a flight engineer on a mission for Coaxium. You’re not just a passenger you are the center of a story, the ride actually responds to each and every guest on the ride.

  • The gunners will need to push buttons that light up beside them to shoot objects in front of you.

  • The pilots will move the ship up and down to avoid running into objects and to control the ship.

  • The engineers are seated in the back and will also push the buttons that light up on the wall, this helps repair the ship.

Be a part of the Resistance on Rise of the Resistance

Prepare for an epic battle on Rise of the Resistance, this immersive experience puts you in the midst of the conflict between the Resistance and the First Order.

Experiences and Workshops in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

Build a Lightsaber

Constructing a lightsaber is a rite of passage in the life of a Jedi. Feel the Force in Savi’s Workshop as you craft your own lightsaber. Savi’s Workshop is an interactive experience, show, and part retail.

You will get to build the lightsaber you’ve always wanted. To be a part of the Lightsaber experience, you will need to make a reservation on Disneylands website, and the cost is a whopping $219.99 with out tax.

Build a Droid Inside the Droid Depot

Guests can build and customize their own Droid at the Droid Depot. Patrons pick pieces and parts off a conveyor belt to construct one of two core models (R-series or BB-series), which can then interact with elements throughout the new land.

To make your own Droid, you will need to make a reservation on Disneylands website, and will cost $99.99.

Food and Drinks

Enjoy Blue or Green Milk from the Milk Stand

Ever wonder what blue milk tastes like? The Milk Stand in the Black Spire Outpost marketplace offers both Blue and Green Milk, two tasty frozen blends with vaguely fruity accents.

Drop by for a Drink at Oga’s Cantina

This notorious watering hole is a place where you can enjoy exotic beverages (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic) served in unique vessels and listen to music by DJ R-3X.

Disney’s goal was to create a place so authentic that when guests step inside, they feel like they’re on another planet.

Grab a Bite to Go at Ronto Roasters

This marketplace stall offers mouthwatering Ronto Wraps and specialty beverages. The Ronto Wraps have slowly become my go to meal at Disney for both breakfast and lunch.

Sit Down at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo

This unique dining offers guests a taste of the galaxy with its diverse menu of galactic-inspired dishes. The restaurant’s immersive atmosphere is designed to resemble a bustling cargo hangar on the planet of Batuu.

Characters and Interactions

Encounter familiar faces from the Star Wars saga, including Rey, Chewbacca, and Kylo Ren, as well as Storm Troopers. You can also spot the Mandalorian and Grogu, aka baby Yoda walking around and interacting with guests.

When accessed inside Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, the app transforms guests’ mobile devices, allowing them to scan the contents hidden inside containers, translate languages, and eavesdrop on local communications.

Explore the Black Spire Outpost Marketplace

Here you’ll find vendors showcasing wares from across the galaxy. Guests can buy authentic Batuuan attire at Black Spire Outfitters, start a collection of rare artifacts at Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities, or peek into the cages in the Creature Stall.
