But the real question is will they be worth the hefty price tag? Well, I guess that depends on the person going. Some of these events like the Merriest Nite I feel like was a huge money grab. Disney knows that most fans will shell out the extra cash in the hopes of having an extra magical limited access evening.

I not going to be the one to tell you whether you should or should splurge on these After Dark events, because you may have a little one that is a huge Star Wars fan and would really enjoy seeing the extra characters. But from personal experience and taking a look at these parties in detail I would save my money for the Oggie Boogies Bash because I feel like that is the party you get the most bang for your buck.

I will highlight the fact that the wait times for rides were significantly shorter and the unlimited digital downloads of the PhotoPass during the party does save you money.

But other than that, I haven’t been too terribly impressed with the event food (It was cold, lines were long, and Disney is understaffed) or merchandise (Alot of the merchandise sold out within the 1st hour, merch wasn’t a great design) at the After Dark parties.

If I had to choose one event out of these 3 it would probably be the Star Wars Nite in hopes of meeting some unexpected characters and an amazing fireworks show.

Here’s to 2022, may the After Dark parties be much better than 2021!
